Scarboro Golf and Country Club is a popular venue for hosting small to mid-sized weddings. It is located in a secluded area of Scarborough, surround by lush greeneries. Upon entering the venue, you will be greeted by a large Victorian styled club house. The building has a dining hall that can hold up to 150 seated guests. There is a separate ball room for cocktail hours and other functions. On the second floor, you will find a large bridal suite and several other multi-purpose rooms. At the back of the club house you will find a well-maintained open landscape. It has an walking path leading to a gazebo, perfect for hosting an outdoor wedding ceremony.

The contemporary indoor aesthetics and elegant outdoor scenery are the main reason why Tara and David decided to host their wedding at the Scarboro golf club. The couple started the day on the second floor of the club house. Tara was getting her make up and hair done in the bridal suite, while David was getting dressed in another area. It was a beautiful summer day with comfortable temperature. We used the small garden with a water fountain as the backdrop for the first set of photos. Then the staff took us out to the picturesque golf course for more photo opportunities.

Sunset wedding photos at the Scarborough golf club

One of the most popular request I have gotten from newly weds is photos during sunset. The Scarboro golf club has the perfect spot to capture amazing golden hour photos. As the sun drops towards the horizon, the soft light peaking thru the trees give a dreamy and ethereal look. I asked the couple to slowly walk across the golf course so that I can capture them surrounded by dreamy and romantic sunlight. I also had the two sat by the bunker to enjoy some quiet moments. The best part of golden hours only last for minutes and it was an amazing feeling to be able to photograph it for Tara and David.

Wedding reception

After the golden hour photo session, we headed back to the main dining hall inside the club house. The center table was filled with traditional Iranian wedding decorations and sweets. Once the dinner and speeches are out of the way, everyone head to the dance floor for some late night partying.
